Pastor Montel D.Thomas, founded Soul Winners International, his first pastorate, in 2005. Soul Winners International Church was a small Florida church with only ten members. He relocated to Akron,Ohio where he organized Soul Winners International of Cleveland.Now 3 years later, Pastor Montel Thomas pastors Soul Winners Global Church in North Carolina, a multi-cultural diverse, nondenominational church.

Pastor Thomas was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 15, 1968. He was raised by Patient G. Thomas in Gulfport,Mississippi. It is to her that her son credits the source of his own, discipline and self- reliance. He also credits his paternal mom Beverly Joyce Thomas of Manhattan, NY for his wit and sense of humor.

Pastor Thomas is the CEO of Soul Winners Global Church, a nonprofit organization that he and his wife Pastor Donnet Thomas share the leadership role. Pastor Thomas addresses the specific spiritual needs of many, speaks to their strengths, rather than their weaknesses, and empowers many to go from welfare towork, and from prison inmate to productive citizen. he combines intense spirituality with a therapeuticapproach." This teaching comes on the heels of personal setbacks in marital experiences, loss of children and public riticule. He is the General Overseer/Apostolic covering of Soul Winners International Fellowship Of Churches, Inc. This fellowship has been designed for individuals in church leadership positions and for those seeking to further develop their leadership skills. It is a family-oriented fellowship that combines spiritual sons and daughters in ministry on a global level. Pastor Thomas desire to assist men and women in their efforts to become and achieve their personal best, and to allow themselves the opportunity to speak and teach more intimately into the lives of their brother and sisters in ministry in a family environment.

Pastor Thomas has organized a PRAISE ON FIRE FOUNDATION and conference that was created recently for young people ages 10 to 25, and is designed to inspire, inform,prepare, and empower Christian youth for today's world. It offers fun-filled and interactive sessions, presenting the Gospel to children ages 5 to 10 in an easily understandable format.This state grant funded faith base initiative program will bless your youth.

Pastor Thomas after financial setback is the organizer of operation HELP and it is the most immediate example of the ministry's impact on community business development. Endeavoring to remedy social and economic disparities, to bridge socio-economic voids existing in urban America. Currently He is working to impact the lives of individuals and families residing in historically underserved communities through the implementation of programsestablished under the umbrella of its core initiatives. He is scheduled to launched an entrepreneurial training series.The RESTRUCTUREd TEXTBOOK Entrepreneur Training Series it is a 12-session, 36-hour coursedesigned for entrepreneurs who require the hands-on business development assistancenecessary to expand and grow existing businesses. The series is developed to provide practical instruction in business planning and development including, but not limited to,developing sound marketing strategies, understanding cash-flow projections and other financial statements, staffing considerations, lender negotiations and more.

Pastor Thomas is in school now studying to receive an authentic Divinity degree sharing while sharing his personal testimony about his Akron, Ohio-Akron Apostolic/Church of God Cleveland Ohio experience. This transparent testimony has begun to inspired students from around the world to become tomorrow's change leaders in a challenging and spiritual environment.

The outreach efforts of Pastor Thomas and Soul Winners Global Church don't tarry at the doors of the church, or even on the shores of the nation.

Very mindful of Africa and passionate about doing what he can to contribute to the well being of the continent's people, Pastor Thomas, his partners, has sponsored the construction of water wells and water stations throughout the arid, drought stricken areas of Kenya, supplying desperately needed purified drinking water to people and livestock as well as valuable irrigation for crops. Wells were drilled in each of three Kenyan districts: West Pokot, Sigor, and Baringo.

Pastor Thomas placed in motion the full force of the ministry's resources into actively assisting families displaced by Hurricane Katrina in September 2005. Only two days after Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, a place where he lived and grew up, he was very passionate about this effort.
